Teresa Vahlen-Belafort

Competent is a gross understatement. Teresa despised politics, but she was ambitious. Teresa was not a scientist out of curiosity - she sought to dominate her field for the sake of it. So her eventual position as the Chief of Neuroscience for the Belafort research division was almost inevitable. Her marriage to the company director was not something she would have ever anticipated, however. And when she held her newborn daughter Siobhan, it changed everything. Now, instead of reverse engineering the human soul, her ambition leaned toward giving her daughter every developmental advantage that Teresa's expertise could fathom. But her new mission was cut short by tragedy. She disappeared following a maglev derailment in East Asia, and was presumed dead. Truth is often far stranger than fiction, however.
